There are two airfields near us: Little Gransden and Bourn Airfield. Pilots should remain outside the ‘Glider Exclusion Zone’ around Little Gransden below 1,300ft AAL as illustrated below. If this is not possible pilots should state their intentions on VHF channel 130.850. Note that powered aircraft performing aerobatics in the vicinity of Little Gransden aerodrome are not always confined to the Aerobatics Box.
Pilots should contact Cambridge Approach on VHF channel 120.965 when operating within 5NM of Cambridge Airport and the approach and climb out areas (red), and endeavour to avoid the instrument holding patterns (blue), as illustrated below.
